Warlocks are one of the most beloved DPS
classes in WoW. They come with many very valuable
functions both in raiding and PVP groups. These
functions include everything from creating health stones
for a group, soul stones, providing summons in a raid
environment, and even debuffs. If you are one of the many
Warcraft gamers who enjoy Warlocks, be sure to not miss

Health Stones & Soul Stones
Health
Stones are like single charge health potions for
anyone in the group. They cost the warlock a single soul
shard to conjure the “soul well” that will pass out these items
the group or raid. These health stones can make the
difference in a pinch and save a group.

Soul
Stones are a saving grace when a wipe may happen or
when placed properly they can save a raid from dying by
resurrecting key members. You can place it on healers,
tanks, or high DPS dealers to ensure that they can instantly
return from the dead if they happen to die. This is an amazing
advantage in a raid and yet I’m surprised it’s only pointed out
in one Wow warlock guide I have read. Also, this method can
only be used once per half hour, and needs to be timed so that
it is not wasted if there happens to be multiple warlocks in a
group or raid. Soul stones should be reserved for
healers, and occasionally in raids for tanks or higher
DPS.
Banishing
Banish is a form of
crowd control, that can be used against demons and elementals,
and though it is limited in the amount it can be used, when
combined with the other classes of a raid, you will find that
it is beyond useful. Again a wow warlock guide usually
does not explain a lot on banishing because it is too valuable
to give away this info for free! Many people say you need to
play the game to try this out.
A Warlock’s Pets
Pets are another
useful item that a warlock brings to the table; they can
fulfill a wide range of purposes. A succubus can seduce
(crowd control) a targeted monster, which will allow you to
take something out of the fight temporarily, if the monster
that is seduced takes damage, it will snap out of it instantly
and rejoin the combat. I would advise you to look for another
wow warlock guide focused on the Pets because knowing how to
use them can be an amazing advantage in
WoW.
