World of Warcraft Tailoring Guide
Tailoring belongs to the primary
professions in the World of Warcraft. Players that choose
tailoring as one of their professions are mostly DPS
casters and healers that wear cloth.
Most common classes
that will choose WoW tailoring would be: priests, mages
and warlocks. It is also not uncommon to see a healing
druid or a moonkin druid tailor since they could also use
and wear cloth. Continue reading this wow tailoring guide
to learn lots more about the tailoring
profession!

Guide
Cloth is the basic
material you will need for leveling tailoring and is obtainable
through leveling while you are grinding mobs, playing an
instance or you can even purchase stacks of cloth on the
Auction House. You can use a wow tailoring guide focusing on
the Auction House to get information on buying cloth. If you
are looking for the mobs that drop cloth keep in mind that
cloth ONLY drops from mobs that are humanoids. Cloth is easy to
get and easy to use. Another thing you will need to level up
your tailoring skill is a special kind of thread which you can
purchase at tailoring supplies or at general goods
vendors.
What can I make as a Tailor?
If your character can
only wear cloth then while you are leveling you can make armor
sets for yourself which will improve your performance. Other
nice and useful items you can make are the bags. Everybody
needs bags so selling what you crafted, especially bags can
make you some gold even on the lower levels. A full wow
tailoring guide is excellent for explaining this. Depending on
your tailoring level, you could craft six-slot bags, eight-slot
bags, and up to 20-slot bags. Enchanting pouches are specific
bags you could make for enchanters where they can keep their
enchanting items and supplies. By grinding reputation with
certain factions a tailor can obtain special kinds of patterns,
like in example Cenarion herb bag pattern. This pattern you can
use to craft special 20-slot bags for
herbalists.
Specialization
Every tailor can
specialize to become a Spellfire, Shadoweave or a Mooncloth
tailor which will determine what kind of special cloth you will
be able to make. Spellfire, Shadoweave and Mooncloth sets of
armor were really good pre-raiding epic gear for dps casters
and healers in the Burning Crusade expansion. With the Wrath of
The Lich King expansion, similar cloth appeared: Spellweave,
Ebonweave and Moonshroud. I can’t tell you how fast I’ve
leveled up after reading wow tailoring guides and how to
specialize them. It’s unreal!
The Highlights
One of the major
highlights when we mention tailoring is a mount you can create
for yourself. At the 410 tailoring skill you can make the
Flying Carpet. At the 425 tailoring skill you can make an epic
mount - the Magnificent Flying Carpet. Flying carpets are the
flying mounts and look like they came out from the Aladdin
fairytale and what’s even better – ONLY tailors can have
them!
At the max tailoring
level you will have the power to make spellthreads. These
are a need for every good raiding caster or healer. A player
will be able to boost the stats by permanently embroidering
adequate spellthread into pants.
All together,
tailoring is a very useful profession if you need it. Easy to
level with a bit of something for every caster and healer,
thanks for reading and I hope this wow tailoring guide didn’t
disappoint you!
