Trying to level in the World of Warcraft can be incredibly frustrating and incredibly boring.  Many players find leveling in online games incredibly time consuming and a game breaking thing.  People will stop playing the game due to the amount of time and resources required.  What a lot of players do not realize is that there are a couple of different methods of leveling and most of them are accepted by the Warcraft community as a whole, only one of the methods is both frowned upon by the players and by the game staff and producers. ‘Bot Runners’

The one method that is frowned upon game wide is using a leveling service.  This means you would be paying a company or another person to play your character for you and level it to whatever level it is you desire.  By doing this you personally only pay cash and lose none of your time, while the person doing the work usually uses hacks and glitches to do it.  Players being levelled by these WoW leveling guide services are rather easy to spot as they are usually running a “bot” script that have them doing the same set of actions over and over again to accomplish the task.  When you come across one of these “bot” runners, you will find it is indeed really annoying and can tick you off quite rapidly, the only thing you can do here is simply report the character in game and let the game’s staff deal with it. These leveling services are also highly dangerous to use as some will in fact steal your account right from under you if it may be worth something.  Brand new accounts are usually left alone, but when you have an account with high level characters and decent amounts of gold and items on it you will become a target.

If Leveling Services are frowned Upon, What Are My Legal ‘by the Book’ Options to leveling?

Well there are at least three ways to legal leveling in World of Warcraft.  You can definitely go straight to questing.  With questing you gain items, gold and experience all in one fell swoop.  The rewards of all of those increase as the level and difficulty of quests increases.  You will find that you can definitely get ahead of the curve by utilizing “Rest Experience” as well.  While you have rest experience, the amount of experience that your character gains is increased to 200%.  If you were to keep yourself in a “rested” state, you will find that your experience will climb at a rapid rate and allow you to either take a break from the game or play additional characters.  By leveling these characters in an alternating fashion you may take a little longer than if you kept at it and levelled as much as your body could handle it, but in today’s society, you will find that the more fractured and fragmented a leveling system is, the better chances of keeping the casual player a game will have. Yes, I know this part of a wow leveling guide can be confusing but as you become familiar with the game you’ll see what I mean.

As much as gamers demand things constantly, a large portion of the gamer base is the casual gamer.  Those casual gamers only have small bits of time here and there and cannot manage the hours upon hours daily that the hardcore players have.  Even though they do no spend as much time on the game, they pay the exact same amount, and therefore means games also have to cater to them so that they have fun, continue to progress, and don’t feel left behind.  Any company that ignores their casual fan base will quickly find that they will not exist.
